== History ==

Choo Choo is an evolution of (or rather clone) of the Choo Choo (Hard Luck Bears Animatronic) from the [[Hard Luck Bears]]

The first Choo Choo animatronic debuted on august 14th 1980 at the Jacksonville, FL (9820 Atlantic Blvd) store.This first version of the bot was nearly identical to the [[Hard Luck Bears]] version,both mech and cosmetic wise.The only major difference is that he now had a blue bib with white borders and his name written on it.The name on the bib was dropped in favour of a plain bib shortly there after.He also got 2 little arms added <ref name="cep2">[https://archive.org/details/1981-rock-afire-postcard archive.org]</ref> and had baby blue eyes <ref name="cep1">[https://archive.org/details/1980-jax-rae-scans/32EC76B4-2D54-4B77-87CE-923DC984F96D.jpeg archive.org]</ref>This early version of Choo Choo shared the same mask mold as the Choo Choo (Hard Luck Bears Animatronic) .This version of the mask was sculpted by Dave Thomas and is known as the "Beta Choo Choo mask" .It would be used up until sometime around 1982,though the exact batch is unknown.His next mask iteration would debuted around 1982 and.Choo Choo would stay almost entirely unchanged trough his run at Showbiz and even today,with a few exceptions including multiple bots that had no bib or ones with custom bibs such as the one at the [[Billy Bob's Wonderland]] located at Barboursville, WV (5 Cracker Barrel Dr)

Choo Choo animatronics would continue to be produced up until 1983. The January batch would be the last used inside ShowBiz Pizza restaurants, and would be kept and stored for future openings, while Creative Engineering would continue to produce bots until June. Now with a surplus of bots, these would need to be sold to other family entertainment centers.

During [[Concept Unification]] process,Choo Choo would be converted to Munch Jr <ref name="cep3">[https://archive.org/details/concept-unification-installation-manual/page/32/mode/2up archive.org]</ref> now resembling a smaller Mr. Munch with one tooth and a propeller cap. Munch Jr. would additionally gain a spotlight <ref name="cep4">[https://archive.org/details/concept-unification-installation-manual/page/45/mode/2up archive.org]</ref> used from the original [[Antioch (Animatronic)]] spotlight though only early versions of the [[Concept Unification Stage]] would get and use this spotlight.Programing for this spotlight would stop with the [[September '94]] showtape.All stores that had gotten it were instructed to switch the spotlight out with a gobo light that faced the center stage curtains. The last official Munch Jr. in a store <ref name="cep6">[https://youtu.be/A0XizuR8_uQ?si=p-Aj8VMa9be-8BkL&t=117 youtu.be]</ref> was at the Wilmington, NC (4389 Oleander Dr) location which would close in October of 2020.

== Design ==

Choo Choo is a small black bear with a tan face with tan ears,a black nose,rosy red cheeks,a black nose,depending on the mask version walleyed solid black pupiled eyes for standard or baby blue colored eyes that are looking straight up up or straight forward for beta.He has 2 arms with black claws at the end.He's typically wearing a blue bib with white edges.He resides inside of a hollowed out tree on the right side of center stage in front and inbetween Dook's tree stump and Fatz's Organ leg.

== Mechanical Structure ==

Choo Choo is an incredibly simple animatronic.His mech is made up of 2 long square aluminum bars to act as the sides of the mech,another shorter bar at the bottom onto which a clevis for the cylinder is mounted onto.On the front of this near the top is a flat aluminum plate onto which 2 liner pillow blocks attach.Trough the pillow blocks go 2 steal rods which are attached to each other with a steal plate above,which then attaches to the top of the cylinder trough another clevis.On top of this plate is a spring with an L shaped channel on top with 2 holes onto which the fiberglass head shell screws into.On the bottom of the head shell is mounted the body shell with a steal piece inbetween the 2 shells,onto which 2 long springs attach which go inside the arms.
