Crater Corner / Rockaria is a virtual animatronic band created in February of 2025 by FuntownFollies that was backed through GoFundMe, releasing through the simulator RetroMation until its completion on February 7th, 2026.[1][2]
History
Crater Corner's design would first be drafted in 2019.[3] The GoFundMe for the project would release on February 10th, 2025 with a goal of $600.[4] The release was set to contain a full "copyright-free" show for fans to program and animate in RetroMation, with complete concept art of the show seen on the backing page. 'Crater Corner' would be the fictional restaurant, with 'Rockaria' being the name of its animatronic band.[1] By February 18th, the project would already surpass $470, and would reach past its goal shortly after.[1][5] Updates for Retromation containing the show would release to backers on April 21st, May 30th, and August 13th of 2025.[6] The full release would come publicly on February 7th, 2026.[2]
